Synopsis

Two years after defeating a satanic cult led by his babysitter Bee, Cole's trying to forget his past and focus on surviving high school. But when old enemies unexpectedly return, Cole will once again have to outsmart the forces of evil.

The Good

The Babysitter : Killer Queen is the sequel to 2017 Netflix hit movie The Babysitter. The tone is practically the same as the original. It’s goofy gore and humor. I have to admit that this movie is pretty entertaining. The pacing is very good and I laugh a couple of times. If you are a fan of grind house horror movies, this one is definitely for you. Plenty of kills, blood and funny characters making horrible decisions. Perfect for a Halloween party.

  • Good pacing.
  • Good Halloween movie.
  • Funny moments.

The Bad

There is no story at all in this sequel. It’s just a series of events. Unlike the previous installation, all the characters seems goofy. I understand that character development is not the strongest point in this kind of movie, but still, a minimum would’ve been appreciated. There is also a horrible video game fighting scene that is just unnecessary. Don’t know why the main character’s friend had to look exactly like Samara Weaving in the first movie. Director McG did a great job in the previous feature but this one is kind of a miss.

  • Weak sequel.
  • No story.
  • Too much goofy characters.
