Synopsis

Supervillains Harley Quinn, Bloodsport, Peacemaker and a collection of nutty cons at Belle Reve prison join the super-secret, super-shady Task Force X as they are dropped off at the remote, enemy-infused island of Corto Maltese.

The Good

The Suicide Squad is back, but this time it’s from the mind of James Gunn who brought us Guardians of the Galaxy. Only a few characters from the previous edition are back. Let’s just say that this movie is way better than the 2016. It has better everything. Character development is on point. James Gunn manages to give little backstories for every important characters. The story is quite simple but effective. The action scenes are what works best in this movie. It is action packed with a lot of gore, and you will definitely not be bored. The soundtrack is amazing and fits well in every scene. The Suicide Squad is what defines a summer blockbuster movie. It will entertain you to the fullest. I recommend.

  • Better than Suicide Squad 2016.
  • Action Packed.
  • Lots of violence and gore.
  • Excellent soundtrack.
  • Very entertaining.

The Bad

The problem in this movie is the humour. The comedy is very childish and made me rolled my eyes a few times. It was very ridiculous sometimes, and you feel like you’re watching a kid’s movie with a ton of violence. Also, the second act had some pacing issues, especially a sequence involving Harley Quinn. Those problems affected the replay value for me. I saw the movie once and will not see it again.

  • Juvenile humour.
  • Gets ridiculous sometimes.
  • Second act pacing.
