Several generations in the future following Caesar's reign, apes are now the dominant species and live harmoniously while humans have been reduced to living in the shadows. As a new tyrannical ape leader builds his empire, one young ape undertakes a harrowing journey that will cause him to question all that he has known about the past and to make choices that will define a future for apes and humans alike.
Kingdom of the planet of the apes is the fourth film in the recently revived Planet Of The Apes franchise. It continues this world where apes rule the earth and mankind struggles its way back to power. Now, we follow an ape called Noah, as he discovers this world left by Caesar’s legacy. The New Planet Of The Apes Saga have made excellent movies through the years, and this one is no different. There are great dialogues and superb voice acting from the cast. Not to mention, the excellent motion capture and the special effects are practically flawless. Those apes look so real, it’s almost scary how good VFX are doing right now. Also, the film as plenty of action and suspense. Cinematography is very good, music is alright. This movie was very entertaining and was worth seeing at the theatre. This franchise isn’t slowing down, and I would love to see more stories in the future.
The only negative I have is the redundant storylines in this franchise. It’s always about some apes discovering how the world was before the outbreak, and then everything goes south. There is always one smart human somewhere who befriend with the main protagonist. It becomes really repetitive, and they need to be more creative henceforth.
