Arcane is the newest Netflix exclusive animation. It is from the world of the very popular video game League of Legends. I, personally, never played that game, but I know it is a worldwide phenomenon. So I was a little skeptical about its video game roots. Boy was I wrong, this animation is simply spectacular in every way. Let’s start with animation, it’s just outstanding. I have never seen an animation so fluid. It’s so good, it’s like motion capture. The voice acting is just amazing. You feel the emotions behind every dialogue. The soundtrack is excellent. Imagine Dragon’s intro song “Enemy” fits perfectly to the vibe of the series. The story is so well written, you can tell they took their time doing this. Every major character as a backstory and you understand their motivations. The plot as multiple storylines and all of them are interesting. This is a masterpiece of a work. Arcane has plenty of action, great story, great characters, awesome soundtrack and crazy good animation. This might be the best animation I have ever seen.
The abrupt ending to the season without even knowing if there would be a second season. We are glad that a second season was confirmed by Netflix but still, It would’ve been wiser to have a close ending just in case.
