Little Fires Everywhere was a good surprise. It was definitely worth the watch. This series deals with a lot of issues still present today. Racism, discrimination, bullying, homophobia, and couple issues, to name a few. It finds a way to blend all subjects in a cohesive way and it works. Reese Witherspoon and Kelly Washington have great chemistry and delivers in performance. You can feel the bad tension between them and that what makes this show so intriguing. Throughout the season, every character is on the edge and things can easily go wrong. The story is great but the dialogues are amazing. Overall, it’s a must-watch for sure.
Only a few minor things that could have been better. Joshua Jackson’s performance was a little disappointing. There are some scenes he gets out acted by Reese Witherspoon. Also, the 90s setting didn’t feel like it. They throw us some hints with music and accessories but I think more work could’ve been done. And finally, the season ending is a little unsatisfying but apprehensible for the next season. Let’s hope season 2 happens.
