Synopsis

Shang-Chi must confront the past he thought he left behind when he is drawn into the web of the mysterious Ten Rings organization.

The Good

The newest addition to the marvel universe is just spectacular. Shang Chi and the legend of the ten rings is one of the best marvel movies to date. Simu Liu gives a great performance as the titular character, but Tony Leung’s character Wenwu steals the whole show. His character is so nuance between good and evil. You are intrigued in everything he does and everything he has to say. Wenwu is one of the best villain I have seen in a while. Let’s not forget the martial arts. It is very good, not The Raid level good but still excellent. Cinematography is good, the score is excellent and special effects are great. Shang Chi is a movie to see multiple times in theatres. It is very entertaining, funny, emotional and plenty of action. A must-see!!!

  • Entertaining.
  • Good fighting scenes.
  • Good balance between emotional and action.
  • Excellent casting.
  • Excellent villain.
  • Good Effects.

The Bad

There isn’t much negative about this movie. The story is a little generic and the 3rd act as maybe too much special effects that we have seen before. Also, Michelle Yeoh is underused.

  • Generic story.
  • CGI fest in 3rd act.
  • Not enough Michelle Yeoh.
