Legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett and mercenary Fennec Shand must navigate the galaxy’s underworld when they return to the sands of Tatooine to stake their claim on the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate.
The Book of Boba Fett is the second Star Wars show created by Disney+. We get to follow the adventures of Star Wars fan favorite character Boba Fett. This show brings way more lore to the Star Wars universe. Familiar characters and locations are back, and some new ones. Also, this show manage to explain on what took place after the events of The Return Of The Jedi. From The Mandalorian, Ming-Na Wen is a great addition to the cast as a regular.
The Book Of Boba Fett lacks creativity and story material big time. Boba Fett feels like a side character in his own show. Too much focus is spent on other characters. Also, some of them feels inappropriate to the Star Wars universe. This show felt like there wasn’t enough narrative to do 7 episodes. It relies too much on already establish storylines by The Mandalorian, instead of focusing on Fett’s path. It is called The Book Of Boba Fett for a reason, no? The character is lame and doesn’t come close to what Jango Fett brought in the prequels. As of directing, Robert Rodriguez could’ve done better directing episode 1, 3 and 7. Steph Green, Bryce Dallas Howard and Dave Filoni delivered the most interesting episodes. The Book of Boba Fett is not bad, but very disappointing for the main character. It is basically a warm-up for Mandalorian season 3.
