The Mandalorian seemed to be a very promising project when it was announced. The creative mind of Jon Favreau and the knowledge of Dave Filoni delivered one of the most refreshing Star Wars experience in years. The nuances of the original Star Wars makes this series a perfect watch for the fans. Everything, up to small details, is well crafted in this Star Wars series. A must-watch.
Even though it feels like the old Star Wars movies, there are also moments that feels like Disney. Some episodes feel like “Monster of the week” and others are fillers. The costumes are great but seemed too clean for the gritty environment. The story is very linear and the dialogue could be better also.
The Mandalorian season 2 is a big improvement over season 1. Pedro Pascal reprise his role as The Mandalorian (Most of the time) and he is good as always. This season is fill with new characters that really elevates this show into a new level. All the performances are excellent. The production is outstanding and the special effects are still movie quality. You can really feel that you are watching a Star Wars movie cut into 8 episodes. Plenty of actions this season that will get you on the edge of your seat. All the episodes are well crafted, and you are not bored one minute. The story is well written and smartly paced out in 8 episodes. The final episode is amazing and will get you back to your childhood. Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni made Star Wars great again without a doubt.
Even if all the episodes are great, some of them seem too similar and redundant.
