Synopsis

Determined to ensure Superman's ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne aligns forces with Diana Prince with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions.

The Good

This new version of Justice League by Zack Snyder is better on every level. The story is more coherent, the action is longer and more intense. The special effects are outstanding, and the characters are more developed. The score from Junkie XL is top-notch and gets you into the action. I couldn’t believe how much Warner Bros. and Joss Whedon destroyed this movie. It’s very different and is totally better. I was entertained from beginning to end. Zack Snyder did a great job finishing this movie. His vision gave a fresh new perspective on the Snyderverse. I’m intrigue to see more. He made Wonder Woman a bad-ass warrior and Patty Jenkins should take notes on how to do it. Superman is basically the superman we all wanted and Cyborg steals the show. The big differences are with the villains. Steppenwolf is visually better. He looks menacing and imposing. His motivations are more understandable. Darkseid and his minions are well depicted, and you get a glimpse of what he can do. Overall, Zack Snyder’s Justice League is the perfect example on how a studio can ruin a great movie. I was very disappointed in the 2016 version but now, I’m really glad WB and Snyder took the time to fix this mess.

  • Better action.
  • Better effects.
  • More developed characters.
  • Great score.
  • Better villains.

The Bad

However, this movie has some issues. The dialogue is very basic, and the runtime is way too-long (4 hours). There are too many characters also. It seems like Zack Snyder threw every DC character he could find in this. Keeping Steppenwolf against The Justice League would’ve been enough. There is also an overuse of slow-motion. It feels very redundant to watch a slo-mo punch in every action scenes.

  • Average dialogue.
  • Too long.
  • Too crowded.
  • Overuse of slow motions.
