Synopsis

In a time when monsters walk the Earth, humanity’s fight for its future sets Godzilla and Kong on a collision course that will see the two most powerful forces of nature on the planet collide in a spectacular battle for the ages.

The Good

Finally it’s here, the epic battle between two legendary monsters. Godzilla vs King Kong is a great start to the blockbuster season. Grandiose scenery combine with great action. Very entertaining and top-notch special effects. This movie will not leave you bored at all. We get 3 rounds of confrontations between the two titans and a special addition also. The pacing is well-balanced and the score keeps you engage. Godzilla vs King Kong is the perfect popcorn movie this spring. Watch it!

  • Great action.
  • Great CGI.
  • Good pacing.

The Bad

Human characters are more accessories in this movie. They don’t bring anything interesting to the film. Quality talent like Skarsgård and Bichir are underused. The story is not very original. You don’t quite know what the story is all about, which is a problem. King Kong is really disrespected. Multiple assists was needed for him to match Godzilla. Also, I think they are wasting villains way too fast in this franchise. Godzilla vs King Kong is good entertainment but lack any interesting storyline involving human characters.

  • Cardboard human characters.
  • No respect for King Kong.
  • No story.
