Synopsis

Wanda Maximoff and Vision—two super-powered beings living idealized suburban lives—begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems.

The Good

Wandavision is the first Marvel studio original series on Disney + and it doesn’t disappoint. We can clearly see the production is movie level quality, which is a relief. Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany returns as Wanda Maximoff and Vision. Their performances among others are spectacular, especially Elizabeth Olsen. The formula is quite different from the movies though. It borrows the sitcom format and it works. It contains some comical moments and keeps you intrigued until the end. But, mostly, this series is about Wanda’s grief after the events of Avengers : Endgame. Plenty of actions and great storytelling, Wandavision is a must-see for all marvel fans.

  • Movie quality production.
  • Original story.
  • Great action.
  • Great performances.

The Bad

On the other hand, the sitcom format won’t please everybody. It might be a bit slow and too much of a departure from conventional storytelling. Also, the length of episodes is way too short and can be frustrating. And finally, a certain character was totally unnecessary and was basically a “troll” from the Marvel producers.

  • Sitcom format not for everybody.
  • Episodes length are too short.
  • An unnecessary character.
